Mariam Bolkvadze

Mariam was a Junior doubles finalist at Wimbledon.

Her most significant achievement occurred in September 2019 at Flushing Meadows. She came through the qualifiers and won her first round against Bernarda Pera before succumbing to World #3 Karolina Pliskova in a competitive match in front of a packed crowd on the Arthur Ashe Stadium Court.

Mariam is very independent: she left her home in Georgia at the age of 15 to pursue her tennis dreams and train at an academy in London.

Extremely determined, she describes herself as highly self-motivated and measures success by the achievement of her own goals.
