Alycia Parks

At 9 years of age, Alycia competed in several exhibition matches including an ATP Tour event in Atlanta. At the age of 10, she appeared alongside Rick Macci in a Tennis Channel program.

In 2019, her ranking shot up to #378 after finishing the previous year at #986. Alycia’s most recent exhibition was against Alla Kudryavtseva, whose Top WTA ranking was 56. She defeated Alla to raise funds for inner-city youth held in December 2019 at the Sportsmen’s Tennis Club in Boston, Massachusetts. But her career highlight was defeating Top 100 player Kirsten Flipkens in November 2019.

Alycia served a total of 29 aces in one tournament in Redding, where she reached the finals.
If Alycia hadn’t chosen tennis as a career, she would have liked to play basketball. Her height advantage (6-foot-1) has enabled her to do some modeling work. Alycia also enjoyed serving as a stand-in for Serena Williams in Gatorade ads.

Building on her keen interest in fashion, Alycia and her sister Mikayla also run a fashion brand.
